Character is defined as ‘The qualities built into an individual’s life that determines his or her response, regardless of circumstances”.
WE have a Character First! Education Program in building character in the hearts and minds of students. It is open to learners aged 6 – 12 years.
Students will be introduced to different Character Quality. For the session, teachers will use object lessons, games, fun learning activities, handicrafts, classroom projects and stories plus discussions to help students understand the definition and value of the Character Quality.
Teachers will also praise the students whenever they display the Character Quality.

BENEFITS FOR FAMILY AND SCHOOL
“As educators of the 21st Century, most of us see the importance of raising children to be good citizens rather than just clever people. To me, Character First! offers the best possible method of developing good character in the lives of young people.” – Principal Jacob Matthews, Lighthouse College.
SSTC conducts these workshops for FREE – as part of our Community Outreach Programme. You may please contact us for bookings (012 – 370 7660). Classes are usually held during school holidays. Students are to bring their own stationery including colour pencils and magic pens.
