The Advanced Certificate in Bookkeeping and the Advanced Diploma in Accounting introduce more complex accounting tasks, such as maintaining cost accounting records and the preparation of reports and returns.
These are perfect if you’ve completed one of the foundation qualifications, or you’re already at a more advanced level in your learning and or career and you’re looking to develop your accounting skills further.
The Professional Diploma in Accounting covers higher level accounting tasks, including drafting financial statements, managing budgets and evaluating financial performance. You’ll also have the opportunity to specialise in areas from tax to auditing and credit control.
This qualification is perfect if you’ve progressed through the foundation and advanced qualification or you’re at a higher stage in your career. It will give you confidence and provide you with evidence to show you have the skills to do the job and help you progress your career further.

Next steps after qualifying
Once you’ve successfully achieved the Advanced Certificate in Bookkeeping or the Advanced Diploma in Accounting, you’ll be eligible to apply for AAT associate bookkeeping membership and use the designatory letters AATQB after your name.
Once you’ve achieved the Professional Diploma in Accounting, you’ll be able to apply for AAT professional membership and use the letters MAAT after your name, demonstrating your expertise and professional skills to employers, colleagues and clients.
2. LONDON CHAMBER OF COMMERCE & INDUSTRY (LCCI, UK) Level 4 Certificate in Financial Accounting (FAST TRACK TO ACCA)
Whether you’re looking to land your first job, progress in an existing career or find employment locally or overseas, our popular and flexible LCCI qualifications will give you the knowledge and skills to actually do the job.
Students that have completed the LCCI Diploma in Accounting or AAT Advanced Diploma in Accounting; they may proceed to do Level 4 Certificate in Financial Accounting. Upon completion of this paper, students may apply to enter ACCA with a 3 paper exemptions from the Foundation level.
Durastion: 5 – 6 months only. Only Part-time classes.
3. DIPLOMA IN BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION (SBP UK)
The Diploma in Business Administration is a course for individuals who have some working experience and would like to acquire a basic foundation of how administrative procedures and businesses are run today. This course introduces candidates to the essential business functions such as economics, management, accounting, marketing and communication. This is a practical route for people with a keen interest in upgrading their skills in the business discipline.
Tutorials conducted by experienced trainers will comprise of practical case studies and group activities to enable effective transfer of knowledge. The course is assignment and examination based requiring students to apply salient business topics covered to case studies and simulated business situations. Tutorials are usually conducted over week-ends.
The SBP certification i.e. Diplomas, Advance Diplomas and Post Graduate Diplomas are acceptable as entry requirements into recognized Masters Degree programmes.
Entry requirements: Working adults with a minimum of 2 years work experience Duration: 1 year part-time Subjects: 1) Business Admin 2) Communication in Business 3) Principles of Accounting 4) Principles of Selling 5) Economics
4. SIJIL KEMAHIRAN MALAYSIA (SKM Level 3) – Full-time/ Part-time
Students aged 16 years may apply to do the Accounting skill-based training programme instead of the academic and traditional route of studies. Students are trained on a daily basis at the Training Centre, under the supervision of qualified accounting personnel. Students will learn basics of accounting to technician level. Students that graduate with the SKM qualifications are in demand as they are ready for work. Full-time students have the opportunity to learn and earn at the same time. Training will be conducted for half day at the centre and for the other half day, students will work at accounting/ audit firms for the needed hands-on work experience. Students will receive monthly allowance. Study loans from PTPK may be arranged for qualified students. The SKM qualifications are recognised by the Malaysian government and can be used to obtain professional recognition or as a stepping stone to further studies.
4. JOINT DIPLOMAS IN SALES & MARKETING MANAGEMENT from SBP and MAMSA, UK
Working adults wishing to pursue a career in sales or marketing may embark on this interesting programme which provides learners with updated sales and marketing strategies and skills, communication methods in the marketplace today, customer retention, use of digital marketing etc. Upon completion of the 10 mths – 1 year course, students will receive two diplomas; one from the Society of Business Practitioners, UK and the other from the Managing and Marketing Association, UK.
5. CONVERT your Work Experience and Skills without Examinations
IF you have been working in the Accounting field for 3 1/2 – 4 years, then you may convert your experience to a recognised vocational certificate from Jabatan Kemahiran Malaysia which is recognized by the Malaysian government. No exams is involved.
We will identify gaps in your accounting experience and coverage; and custom make your training programme. We ensure that you are not only grounded in manual accounting but also assist you to acquire skills in using computerised accounting packages. The conversion programme is very suitable for working adults wishing to move on in the accounting profession.
6. LCCI or AAT UK FULL Set of Accounts with Autocount Computerised Accounting
EVERY business needs accurate accounts to keep track and monitor business performance, manage cash-flow and to make future decisions. The 4-months course will teach learners how to keep full set of accounts, control and monitor fraud, up to preparing the final accounts for sole proprietor, partnerships and limited companies.
Upon completion of the course, students will sit for the internationally recognised LCCI Level 2 Bookkeeping and Accounts. Our trainer has been teaching for more than 20 years with hands-on experience. Students will not only learn manual book-keeping but also how to maintain a cloud-based computerised accounting system. The duration of the programme is just 4 months on a part-time basis.
